On May 9, 2018, Community High School held its first Alumni Career Fair. Approximately a dozen alumni involved in various careers including lawyer, television, law enforcement, teaching, software engineering, and social work came to the school to talk to the current students. The seniors came in first and walked from table to table listening to the alumni's stories, experiences and words of wisdom. The juniors followed and also received some valuable information from people who, as one alumni put it very eloquently "Was in your shoes not so long ago, and understands the challenges you are facing as you reach the end of your high school career."

It was an enjoyable experience for the students, and also terrific to see the alumni come back to talk to them.

Lisa Stein and Erin Harney run the Career Discovery Program at the High School, which enables students to explore career options.
